The NiSi 112mm Circular Natural CPL Filter for Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8S is designed for the brand new Z series 14-24mm f/2.8S lens from Nikon. The Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8S uses a 112mm standard screw-in filter with the included HB-97 lens hood that comes with the lens. The NiSi Natural CPL is designed to reduce glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces, increase saturation and vibrancy in the sky and foliage while ensuring true color reproduction is at its best by eliminating the warming effect that many polarisers create. Our Natural CPL removes the warm tone seen with other brands of CPL filters and provides a closer true color representation of the scene. The Natural CPL features a unique two-tone frame with a silver front ring, black back ring and both are made from high-quality aluminum. NiSis Natural CPL utilizes Cine seal technology which blackens the edge of the CPL for added durability. This technology reduces the influence of temperature fluctuations and keeps out condensation. A Circular Polarizer Filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. The light from the sun naturally becomes partially polarized due to reflecting off electrons in air molecules, causing the light to scatter into what appears as haze. A polarizing filter arranges, and filters, this directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of this light. This results in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of skies, foliage, and allows the camera to capture what is under the surface of shallow water. This filter is made from high-quality optical glass with nano coating to prevent losing any single bit of detail. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and the 3.0 density provides a 10 stop reduction in light from entering the lens. The ND Filter creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control the depth of field and convey movement in your images. The ND1000 10 Stop is used during the day outside of golden hour as the bright ambient light requires much more light blocking. The NiSi S6 150mm Filter Holder Adapter Ring is designed to enable the use of a NiSi S6 150mm Filter Holder System on a Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S lens. The use of the S6 filter holder is easily accomplished by first sliding the adapter ring over the integrated hood of a lens and tightening. The adapter ring accommodates a NiSi S6 Circular Filter for NiSi S6 including a Circular Polarizer and UV filter. When combined with the adapter ring, a compatible polarizer filter can be rotated to adjust its effect. Both the external dials on the adapter ring allow for the independent rotation of the circular polarizer. A NiSi S5 150mm Filter Holder can then be placed over the adapter ring. After being fitted onto the adapter ring, the filter holders pull-and-release locking pin helps to provide a reliable, yet adjustable connection that allows the filter holder to be rotated 360°, permitting the use of graduated neutral density and other filters that are enhanced by varied positioning. For durability, this adapter ring features an aluminum alloy construction. The adapter allows very quick installation and removal without removing the lens from the camera. Already own the NiSi S6 Holder Kit? Simply add this adaptor to make it compatible with the Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S lens.
